Audi A5 Started from Scratch x2

January 27, 2010

Oh well I got back to what I was doing, and I chose to start from scratch. Again.
This thing took me barely 2 days. So yeah it’s pretty cool. πŸ˜€

You can spot some mistakes at polygon topology right next to the door. But oh well I am gonna fix those anyway.

Working with Vue

January 27, 2010

I started working with the Vue 8 plug-in in Cinema4D. Not having any idea how it practically works and no real experience before I created these 3 images right here:

I really look forward to see a decent tutorial I just found, but I don’t seem to have time on my hands right now. The results seem beautiful only drawback is that render times are just huge. I mean huge huge. I will jump right into experimenting with Vue this week. I know there are mistakes in the pictures but as I said I haven’t got the time to experiment. I also am finishing my first face, which doesn’t look so good. You see polygon topology is my biggest concern right now, and I don’t seem to get it correctly. Anyway I am out.

Mod progress

December 28, 2009

So the Cinema4D audi goes well. Will post screenshots in a few days. So here is the progress sso far on the first map of my mod. ZABAZABA. Pretty crappy quality because I took the screenshots on my laptop ;). Really studied Half-Life’s 2 Episode 2 Maps. Rock displacement was haard. But the result is really satisfying. The thing is that for start I really tried to mimic Episode’s 2 rock so the result looks somehow the same :/ (But I am still pleased 😦 )

it’s okay, everything’s okay and if not don’t worry it will be

Cinema 4D Title Progress

November 29, 2009

So, I seperated each layer for you guys to see from what the title consists of. But in the process I actually found out that all of the separated ones look pretty cool and I thought why not share it with you guys.

So here we go. (click for full size)

Also Audi A5 progress pictures comingΒ  πŸ˜€ Right now I finished the section near the headlights which I consider the most difficult and the result isn’t what I wanted but is good overall.

Title Progress Pictures

November 28, 2009

Here are the progress pictures I promised you guys

You have to see it full view. You can (or can’t) see the picture is improved by many aspects. Also keep in mind it is not edited; it’s a pure Cinema 4D render.

Audi Modelling Work Progress

November 28, 2009

Yay! I started modeling the Audi A5 (2008) now that I got my hands in some huge blueprints. Process is good so far (will post pictures). I can say I’ve done a very big part of the car in just 2 hours. The blueprints are far more accurate than the previous ones but still have some small mistakes regarding the headlight region. I didn’t manage to write the script. I feel so bored sometimes; I need motivation.

Also I’ve finally animated the “NUCLEAR” letters. I’ve been having some problems regarding that, luckily I solved them. Animation is crappy though; pretty logical as Cinema 4D animation tutorials are limited.
